Lightweight aluminium alloys

Three times lighter than steel, aluminum compensates for its different mechanical characteristics from steel through the careful design of sections and tube thicknesses. The material chosen by ROSSIN for its lightweight alloy frames is a development of the class 6000 alloys in aluminum, silicon and magnesium, featuring superior mechanical and resistance characteristics.

Hydroforming – water-based forming technology

Already used in the luxury automotive industry, this technique can mould and vary tube section without changing their mechanical resistance. The procedure makes use of water’s breaking action without creating sharp angles or edges. How does it work? The tubes which have already been drawn to make internal reinforcements are inserted in moulds which are in the forms designed by ROSSIN.
